Museum of the Home Shortlisted for the RIBA Reinvention Award
Wright & Wright's masterplan and reinvention of the Grade I-listed Museum of the Home in East London is one of RIBA's inaugural Reinvention Award finalists.
The inaugural Reinvention Award, presented by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), recognises achievement in reusing often-dilapidated buildings to improve their environmental, social or economic sustainability.
It was created to highlight the benefits of “retrofitting”, increasing the longevity and energy efficiency of existing buildings, reducing the need for demolition and new construction.
